Saving the world ...

... one tree at a time!

Last Tuesday (the 12th) employees of PwC had the opportunity to volunteer through the PwC foundation by donating a day of work towards a local cause. This year, for the first time, we volunteered with Evergreen They are a not-for-profit promoting greenspace in urban centres, we volunteered at Bowmont Park in the NW. It was overall totally awesome, a bunch of us (40ish summer students/staff/managers/partners) got to remove invasive species (weed), define trails (broadcast anyone?!), plant trees, and end off with a hike. All in all, a nice day out of the office trying to make a little difference. ...and with drinks and snacks to follow afterwards!
