conference high
to my fellow aiesecers: You know that feeling when you come home from a conference and you wish that you were still in conference? Well, I think I am at that stage. NC2006 in Saskatoon really was an amazing conference (thanks MC ... OC ... Vinod ... Adrian). For one thing, Messalina, my NC2005 OCP and LCP ran for MCP of Canada (and did a fine job doing so !). My Calgary team was awesome as always (and Calgary won LC of the Year for 2005 !!!). I also had the remarkable opportunity to be a facilitator.
I want to send out a huge huge thank you to my fellow faci "superheroes" for really "going above and beyond" to make this a conference experience that will be difficult to top. Ang, Christian, Dalal, Heather, Jen, John and Llorene THANK YOU. It was freakin awesome! I am so glad that I took the position (as rushed as it may have been), I would have regretted it so much if I hadn't.

Also, to the brave, brave souls who got to endure me and the content in finance track. I really hope that it wasn't as bad as I have gone through in the past. In the end, the goal was to provide you with the foundations to bring it back to your local and really provide the long-term sustainability that any organization needs. So do it damn it !! I don't know about you but I had fun ... remember ...

so OK, I will draw my first real blog to a close for now. For the next 8 months I will get to endure office life in a cozy cubicle (or office if I am lucky). Waiting to see what fun adventure comes next stay tuned!
