Couple of weekends ago I got to hang out with super friend Messalina; along with Hesam (former LCP of Western) and her high school friend Tyler. The night before involved drinks and karaoke (with more high school friends and vania) and the nest day was a trip out to Banff (complete with a mini-hike up tunnel mountain) ... all in all a really awesome weekend!

High Rotation

As the procrastinator that I am, instead of studying for my Canadian Studies midterm I will tell you what is on high rotation on the pod and car CD player these days. And predominantely for the past 2-3 months (it seriously has been a while) it has been on repeat for JASON MRAZ (www.jasonmraz.com) seriously, this guy is good stuff. Well I like it and that's all that matters. Thanks to Alan for introducing it to me. His album "Waiting for my Rocket to Come' and his newest "Mr. A-Z" are an interesting mix of a lot of different genre types all with some great guitar. Everyone who rides in my car keeps on asking me what I'm listening to, it's good stuff, give it a try if you are looking for something new.

...also on high rotation are Corinne Bailey Rae, Chris Brown, Paula DeAnda, and a couple Dreamgirls soundtrack songs.

Hello 2007.

OK, so I definately have not been maintaining my own blog in quite some time. Well its 2007 and its time to usher in a era of blogging fun. Afterall, supposedly this is the year I graduate (oh crap!).... This will hopefully appease those of you who visit my site and realize that once again I have yet to update my blog. If it helps, I've been updating the AIESEC Calgary blog in the meantime and I've gotten addicted to FACEBOOK.

So I changed the name of my blog and did the big switch to the "New blogger". I don't really know what that means, but apparently its good stuff. I have yet to notice any meaningful difference...according to the propaganda there should be a new easy layout changing feature, no more "republishing", and a cool new heirarchy archive listing - NONE of which my blog so-called 'upgrade' got [I've still got that annoying exclamation mark triangle republish clock]. booo-urns, and now it pisses me off. Must keep up with the Jones'!

Word of the Month

This seems to be on the mind of us on the Executive Board for the past month, especially Layial, Vania and I .... oh Friends... such a classic. "Unagi" ... almost as awesome as Ross' "Pivot" scene.

I finally found out how to do this You Tube in blog posting thing ... which then led to staying up until 3AM watching Friends clips.
